Day 30 - Hot Texas

There's our campsite at port Aransas:

After breaking down the tent we took a dip in the gulf and It was warm. Later we learned that very recently a fisherman caught a 9 ft 550 pound bull shark not too far from our spot.

In corpus cristi We went inside this building here:

Why? Cause I was born there. Solid giftshop but no caffateria.
So we went to a smoke house in san Antonio for lunch.

Good ribs. In other news I need to get all my pants retailered.

Look familiar?

Yep. That's the Alamo.

Does this look familiar?

Yep that's the bottom of congress bridge in Austin. Described as housing the largest urban bat colony in north America. In the summer there can be up to 1.2 million bats. We heard but did not see. They like to hide in the cracks.

Evening time in the capital city, and we are seeing a show. Esthers follies, a vaudiville style show, part street pervormance part magic and part improv comedy. We gave it 5 stars on yelp, our new favorite iPhone app.

There's April molesting one of the actors. Priceless

And that's it for Austin. We got thrown out of an rv park for trying to camp without an rv so we stayed at the econolodge near the Waterpark we are going to tomorrow.
