Day 19 - Montreal to Quebec

In downtown Montreal there is a service called blixy where you can rent a bike at one of many stations, ride it around and then drop it off at your destination. We never used it, but we did rent bikes from a place called Montreal Ca Roule. This turned out to be a fantastic idea, and we give thanks to the nice guy at our dorms who suggested it , and to the city of Montreal for providing scenery.

I'm no cyclist, but by my estimate we did about 35-40km through this bike friendly town. April took between 6 to 8 thousand pictures, hundreds of hours of video, and at one point, I thought I saw her with surveyors tools measuring topography. Unfortunately, I had the iPhone and forgot completely to take pictures. So I made this sketch instead that I think captures our experience:

See, it's almost as of you were there.

At lunch April hijacked the phone and started snapping away, she popped off these two before I could stop her:

That's a ratatouille crepe I'm eating there

And that's the chicken and avacado crepe April ordered.

We rode and rode until we could go no further, at which point we got in the car and then drove and drove - next stop Quebec!

The olympic park dome:

And hey guess what, they have dorms for rent in Quebec too! I call this bed!

There I am checking for wifi - looking extra official.

After checking my 1 email from borders I checked out our blog online and read through comments. Thanks to everyone who is posting we love it!!!
