Day 2 - Yosemite

Sean woke me up at the butt crack of dawn like a child at christmas, and claimed that if we didn't get going we were going to miss "everything."

About an hour later I made us omlettes - peppers, onion, cheese and avacado, oh my! I'll take ketsup please :)

So our destination was Vernal falls today, however, it took me about 15 stops to finally feel satisfied with my photo quota before we were really on our way.

Holy crap the falls are straight uphill! I should say Sean can rock it uphill, I am more the downhill type. This was truly a spectacular sight. Here we are only 1/2 way up:

The true beauty of this hike was swimming at the top about 100 yards away from the falls. I didnt hesitate to jump into the 50 degree water and swim to the sunny side.

Sean decided to take a dip too after I convinced him to forget about the $5,000 camera hidden in my backpack.

I asked some dude to take our picture once we reached the other side (that's on my other camera). We had gorgeous mountains all around us as we floated in between two waterfalls. So far, I can't complain!

The hike back down was intense, we ran most the way.
I took this while Sean was peeing:

We got $4 tacos once we got back to the town. $4 too much, with a stale shell that is. But very inspiring for us to make tacos at camp later on down down the road.

The way back to our camp is 1 hour away...
Here is a picture of some burned down trees to fill that hour:

And Another pretty landscape:

Relaxing evening once we got back to camp. Got breakfast for tomorrow, and just before sunset we climbed pothole dome and admired the mountains over the meadows:
